บริษัท เอเชียเอวิเอชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ AAV เปิดเผยว่า บริษัทมั่นใจในปี 59 จะเป็นปีทองอีกปีหนึ่งต่อจากปี 58 คาดกำไรปีนี้สูง 1 พันล้านบาท ตามการตั้งเป้าหมายจำนวนผู้โดยสารเติบโตเพิ่มเป็น 16.9 ล้านคน จากปีก่อน 14.8 ล้านคน หรือเพิ่มขึ้น 2.1 ล้านคน เติบโตราว 15% รวมทั้งจากการเพิ่มจำนวนที่นั่ง (capacity) อีก 15% จากการรับมอบเครื่องบินแอร์บัส A320 จำนวน 5 ลำปีนี้จะทำให้สิ้นปี 59 จำนวนเครื่องบินจะเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 50 ลำ ขณะที่คาดว่าอัตราบรรทุกผู้โดยสาร (Lodad Factor) ปีนี้จะใกล้เคียงปีก่อนที่ 82%
